Garden in a Glass

This beverage captures summer’s sensational garden flavors.


  • 2 cups fresh tomatoes, after blending
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup spinach leaves
  • 1 apple, seeded, optional
  • a few walnuts or cashews* (optional)


Liquefy enough tomatoes in the blender tomake 2 cups of juice. Add bell pepper and spinach leaves and blend. For a slightly sweeter taste, blend in one apple. If desired, season with Tabasco sauce or a pinch of saltand pepper. *Adding a few nuts to your vegetables will help your body absorb more nutrients. Chill or serve with ice.
